Our Flagship Class:

We start with Three Basic Principles. Just like any other discipline, it is very difficult to succeed without understanding the basics. Unlike other courses, the basics are where we start. Then, after building a firm foundation, we teach all the rules and allowable modifiers. Finally, when the student understands all the ins and outs of the Y14.5M Standard, he or she is finally prepared to learn to calculate Fits, Clearances, Wall Thicknesses and Bonus Tolerance, because the student has a complete understanding of what is allowed and required by the Standard. Upon completion of the course and some self-study of the course materials, which are keyed to relevant paragraphs in the Standard, and the review and reinforcement Question and Answer sets that are supplied with the course, the student will be prepared to take and pass the ASME Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional Certification Exam at the Technologist Level.

Included in this class as the first session, is our Understanding Mechanical Drawings class. This is an essential part of learning the "basics", and puts everyone on the same level to begin the GD&T class. There is no additional charge for this class.

Included class materials are:

Understanding Mechanical Drawings Student Manual

260 page GD&T Student Manual in a 3-ring binder

A copy of the ASME Y14.5M-1994 Standard (A $145.00 value, and pre-punched to store in the Student Manual binder)

Q&A sets for all sections of the training material, plus 100 question and 150 question review and prep Q&A sets for the Certification Exam

Microsoft Excel-based automatic scoring answer sheets for the Q&A sets
