This course does not address the type of mechanical drawings used in HVAC or any other part of the construction or civil engineering trades.
The course is especially useful for employees who must occasionally read and interpret mechanical drawings, as when dealing with customers and vendors, but who are not trained designers or drafters. While the course is written to train those who are not intimately familiar with mechanical drawings to use them effectively, even designers and engineers who have used or created mechanical drawings for many years will find new and useful information presented in the course.
We consider this course so important that it is used as the first session of the Geoemtric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Certification Exam Prep Class. The information contained in this class is necessary in order to establish a common base of understanding for those taking the GD&T class.
